- LEI completes the first phase of development of its new DP Green Pumped THG Alexandrite Laser for remote sensing of chemical and biological agents for military applications under an ITT contract for the US Army.
- LEI secures the purchase of a new light diffuser technology called Total Reflective Transmitter (TRT) Technology under a purchase of “pending patents” acquisition. This new diffuser technology will be used in various consumer products. The company has come up with unique ways to manufacture this new technology that will help enhance its profitability. The company is currently working on the application of the technology for use in mobile phones and PDA’s.
- Laser Energetics begins the engineering of its Dazer Laser™ – Light Fighting Technologies product line. The company is working towards making this the “Ultimate” Non-Lethal Weapon.
